In a peaceful place called Treasure Town there is a Guild run by Guildmaster Wigglytuff. Pokemon both good and bad have come in and out of the guild- all welcomed under Wigglytuff's happy arms. But when the heroes who saved the future graduated, Wigglytuff became a bit lonely. The Guild was too empty- it needed more friends to join. So after much thought and consideration (along with some help from diglett and dugtrio) the Guildmaster announced the expansion of the bottom floor of the guild. Now, since there were more rooms, the happy Wigglytuff announced a "New Grand Opening" of the Guild, to attract more Pokemon.
"Ugh... that hurt." I rolled over to find that I was laying on something wet and soggy. "Uh oh, that's not right," I got up to find myself at a beach right next to a cave. I knew that I was being persisted through the night, but I didn't remember spacing out on a beach. In fact, I didn't recall being near to the ocean. I pushed myself up and realized that I was in my pidgeot form still. I cautiously checked around, making sure nobody was watching, and then changed back into human form.
That is, I tried to. For the first time, I couldn't change back into a human. My sword still hung on my underside, my ribbon was tied around my neck, everything was normal- but I couldn't change! I started to panic a bit, but I realized that I was probably still not being persisted. The hours were early, so I decided to try and explore the place and go unnoticed. I flew until a tiny town appeared. "Welcome to Treasure Town" a sign read. I flew briefly over the town to see what kind of residents lived there. A pair of Kecleons, a Kangaskhan, an Electrivive, a Xatu, a Chansey, and a Duskull all lay resting in an area where a group of shops lay. There also was a building with a sleeping Marowak in it.
Then, I noticed a big building with a strange grate in front of it. The front of the building was built like the face of a Wigglytuff, then a vine leading into a hole could be seen from the outside. A poster hung next to a board, with was next to the vine. As I flew over to it, I passed over the grate. Why would someone put a grate-
“Hey you! Where are you going? I have to check your footprint!” Startled, a looked down into the grate. Bits of the morning sun shown on a strange creature with beady black eyes and a big, red nose. Why I obeyed the creature’s orders I don’t know, I guess I figured that if it was an enemy I would be able to escape. “Can you please step onto the crate?”
“Uh…” I cautiously landed on the grate.
“The footprint- it is definitely the footprint of a… wait! Uh… hm… well…” The Pokemon apparently served sentry duty.
“WHAT’S THE MATTER DIGLETT? WHO IS IT?” A loud shouting startled me.
“Well… I don’t know!”
Within a few minutes an overjoyed Wigglytuff greeted me and began talking gibberish about mystery dungeons and rescue teams. He asked me what the name of my team was.
“I don’t work on a team,” I pointed out.
“Oh… you must be really sad! You should meet some friends! Friends are my treasures! And perfect apples!” The guildmaster held up a big, juicy apple and took a bite out of it. If you want to join a team in the guild, I’m sure it will be okay! But if you meet more friends, you’ll need a team name!”
Seeing how he insisted, I thought briefly and decided. “My name is Tanya, and I lead team PokeSenshi.”
“Oooooo, mysterious!” The guildmaster giggled. Soon, I received a bag with some apples and Oran berries. The guildmaster wanted to give me a bow, but decided that my red ribbon around my neck was a bow already. As I was introduced into a crowd of bustling Pokemon, I couldn’t help but feel that I had gotten myself into something.
I picked room 7, an empty room, because it was quiet and left me unnoticed. As I nestled into a straw bed, a Loudred came in and announced that every morning I must meet the Guildmaster and Chatot before doing my duties. I sighed. I don’t know WHAT I got myself into, but I know for certain that working on a team is going to be a pain.
((Okay, this is how it works. You need a RP character. You must somehow explain what happened when you entered the guild, and what Pokemon you turned into. You also need to choose a room to stay in. You can team up with others but must get permission from the team/team leader. You can have up to 4 people on a team, but you can become friends with others on other teams. You don’t have to be a good guy, either. There is no limit as to how many teams can enter a dungeon at once, in fact, only 2 dungeons can be visited at once. Only 1 member from the default guild Pokemon (Sunflora, Bidoof, Crogunk, Diglett, Dugtrio, Magnezone, Magnemite, Loudred, and any others I may be forgetting) can be on your team. That doesn’t mean you can’t turn into one of those, though, it just means that you can only have 1 pre-programmed Pokemon. And sorry, but you can’t have Chatot or Wigglytuff on your team. The only way that they will go on an adventure with you is if the whole guild goes on an adventure (or at least all RPs go on the same adventure together).
RULES ABOUT TURING INTO POKEMON:
1. No legendaries
2. No overpowering yourself or your team
3. You can still use your RP’s weapons, but for multiple reasons your old weapons are as useful as a stick or gravelrock in the games. Don’t be the one to ruin this by deciding to shoot everyone and win or something retarded like that.
4. Be ABSOLUTELY SURE you know which Pokemon you want to be. I know, I love other Pokemon too (like venonats, beedrills, bulbasaurs) but you must choose the one you’ll be satisfied with.
5. This most likely will not change, so be prepared to deal with it: no recruiting. I’m sorry, but the plot will become too complicated if you bring in even 1 more excess character.
I hope this sounds good enough to be a good RP topic- so please tell me your opinions and tell me of ANYTHING I can improve on. I am very new to the world of RPing))
EDIT: oh yeah, I forgot something. You don't have to always be in a dungeon. Treasure Town has stuff to do in it too :P
