Well darn, I already lost my Haruhi signature. Of course, not that it mattered. I still have my AFD avatar and name, though...mainly because I'm too lazy to change them back. Also have the fullsized picture. Props go to Kamiyana for drawing this for me, even if I didn't get to use it too long.


As for my opinion...I was actually rather dissapointed by it, if only because it didn't seem as much "April Fool's Day" as it did "Wacky Stupid Post Day." Not that there was anything wrong about it, but I was just reminded quickly of the Big Spam (as it is commonly known) that occured the day the old Pointless Palace exploded. I think I would've enjoyed it a bit more if there weren't as many wordfilters (the wordfilter from "I" to "You" was troublesome, and the one for "waha" was particularly annoying) and there was a lot less...seizure-enducing avatar and signature sets. Seriously, I got a terrible headache from all of those.

Locking Pointless Palace was strangely satisfying, though. Yeah, I was the one who did it. THE SECRET'S OUT.

Most of my day, I was not on the computer. Better than taking April Fools too seriously, I suppose.

Still, some of the stuff that I read in here was... amusing, to say the least. (Although, I sense some long-term effects triggering because of it. :l)

Actualy, it was my first AFD here. The songs and constant changing of the background, plus the Seizure-tastic Avi's everyone had just helped out the maddness. This also prepared me to watch the 'electric soldier porygon' ep. of pokemon. (they have a translated one on YouTube.) Also, Tairo stole my avi! (and still hasn't changed it.)

I belive NaruKabi (aka leonidus) made a picture of the bizzare background.

If you were around to see it, then you would know that I went by the name 'Mew Desu' for the day. I bet you didn't expect that, huh?!

I found the day rather entertaining as a whole, but as Didge feels, the day seemed more like a day of acting silly and random, rather than any actual jokes. (Well okay there were a few of them, but they were few and far between.) Granted, I found the wordfilters and the music and the Bizarre theme fairly entertaining, but in the end nearly every thread had a 'waha' in it. :/

Posting in a crazy, nonsensical fashion is kinda fun though, since I don't do such things very often (if at all!).

But oh man! This AFD was insane. Enjoyed it to the fullest too.

Everything from the spam at midnight, to the wordfilters, to the seizure-enducing sets was awesome. Didn't have a problem with any of it. The wordfilters were priceless and the rapid forum title changing was also. Cotton-eye Joe will be in my memories for a while, too. Funny though, I wasn't affected my the avatar or sig sets at all...

Hopefully, next AFD I will be able to help with some of the KRR Reconstruction efforts. This one was a blast. :D

EDIT: I will get my sig again for a while, just to archive or w/e.

(OK my experience on today although I never had any flashing avatars. I made a new quote that relates to the day, though!)

Although I didn’t participate in it and instead simply watch it from the sidelines, I thought that the April Fool’s Day got rather crazy. I mean, it was funny at first, but then sorta got overdone.

When I awoke the next day, I liked the diversity that started to emerge other than the crazy topics. Pointless Palace getting changed to MOTHER RUSSIA, all of the word filters being put in, the forum names and descriptions changing, The ANIMU forum, and the WAHA emotion. I personally liked how wacky the posts got with the filters. The forums, at one point, stopped working for me, and when I came back, the clean up had been started. I liked it more towards the end, but it was generally a crazy experience.

And the seizure- inducing avatars/signatures actually never even gave me a headache. Weird!

At first I thought it was allright but could have been better with just the word filers and forum swaps but towards the evening my opinion changed to SHI THIS IS AWESOME. The board style changes were awesome and my speakers were on full blast for additional viewing/listening pleasure~ I definately definately beg for an OST, RMD! =D Also I discovered such a thing known as the chat. The seizure-inducing sigs were painful - ESPECIALLY Naru's but it was awesome nevertheless. =3
