^ Well they've been on a roll with the last two Kirby games.

The boxart is definitely cute. E3 is definitely going to be something to look out for with regard to Kirby.

Here's another couple of link a la Famitsu:

http://ds.dengeki.com/

And a 'comic' strip thingy. Could someone kindly translate this, at all?

http://www.famitsu.com/dswii/

I'm getting really intrigued by this wee game... :)

The bottom comic's unrelated to the game. It's a page from the comic series currently featured on their magazine.

Necrodius' minions (not Minons, and vice-versa) are called Dokuro Dan ドクロ団, or "Skull Gang". Not the most creative name, but eh.

100 food points = 1 Kirby. Apple = 1 point, Banana = 10 points, Melon = 30 points, Max Tomato = 100 points (1 whole Kirby).

Number of Kirbies you have on your team also controls the stages you have access to. Not sure if that means it opens up a stage for good, or it's only open if you have more than the needed count.

I can't quite read some of the text because it's too small, but I'm assuming the Skulls attack when you move to a new region, making you start with one Kirby again.

Anything else is already known from the other scan from a while back.

Thanks for the translation. Any titbits of info are good in my opinion... I'm really looking forward to what I presume will be Kirby's DS swan song. :)

I didn't know there was another comic strip running. Does anyone have other scans of this series, at all? :)

Cute boxart, as always. Now that I think of it, NoA has never included an angry Kirby on the boxart since Squeak Squad was released. After Squeak Squad's release, they went back to including a happy Kirby on the boxarts starting with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. So quite frankly, I doubt they'd include an angry Kirby on the boxart for this game.

Waddle Doo: Right! *he and the Waddle Dees finish the 10 courses and bring the food to Dedede* Hup, two, three, four, we bring the food and he wants more! Five, six, seven, eight, the King had better watch his weight!

Yup, I saw that. And a Kirby who looked like a klutz, too.

I can't believe the game's slipped to August for the Japanese. I presume that'll mean we'll have to wait even longer for an English version... :(

Not necessarily. We didn't have to wait long at all for KSSU, if memory serves me, and I wanna say we got Epic Yarn first?

Regardless, I'm pretty interested in this game now, not least because it's actually being made by hal! Kirby Skull Skwad, here we come.

KSSU actually was released in the US before Japan. KEY was 3 days after Japan.

Pretty promising gameplay excerpt. I like the looks of the new enemies.

A Kirby game by Bioware??

Edit: Is this still going to be a DS game, or are they changing it to a 3DS game now?

Looks like a game I'd buy. However, since I'm also planning on buying a 3DS, Oot3ds, and a couple games they announced at E3 it will be quite expensive for me...

Just viewed the E3 trailer, Necrodius at the beginning looks interestingly like an undead necrotized version of Nightmare with a wand. I think I'll nickname him Necro-Nightmare XD

Anyway, cute trailer. 10 Kirbys launching themselves at Whispy and rolling downhill in balls of dirt and snow... how adorable.

This game looks very cute, but I'm wondering how deep the game will actually be.
Attack an enemy? Tap on it a bunch of times and your Kirbies gang up on it? Then just... Sit and watch? How does the enemy fight back? Wait, if it fights back, isn't it impossible to dodge? I mean, the Kirbies are right on top of the enemy.

Hopefully there'll be a lot of fun puzzles, though.
