For some reason, I have yet to post in this thread.

But this game looks awesome. I'll be getting it for sure.

I always remember this one theory that the Kirby games are kind of like "white roses" for video game systems. This game is also evident of that...

Regardless, I'll be getting this game. Looks adorable. :)

Seems like the Kirby label gets applied to a lot of experimental-type games that come out of HAL (this, Canvas Curse, Tilt 'n' Tumble, etc.). I'm completely okay with that, though, because I like games that explore new mechanics.

I'm curious as to the plot behind this if there's even a plot at all. It's not like Amazing Mirror where Kirby was split into alter egos, I'm really curious as to the logistics behind this.

So, has anyone heard any more about this game? I'm hoping it'll get more exposure at this year's E3... *crosses fingers...*

Bonus points if fans start complaining about Kirby having blue eyes and rounder cheeks than he did in DL3. (cookie to whoever gets that).

In all seriousness, I'm not too sure that this'd be a new Dreamland Title since it looks more like a spinoff game. But I'm still awaiting more info on this game.

It...doesn't look anything like a Dreamland game. It looks like a spinoff game.

So, there's a little more information in Famitsu:

http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/0 ... n_famitsu/

No much but it's better than nothing. There's also a link to the ONM UK site with an older detailing some aspects of the game that may have been missed by some here (me included!). POYO!

"Gather! Kirby" is the japanese title, it seems. I expect a poorly thought up pun/alliteration from Nintendo of America.

Another question. Will NoA keep Kirby happy or make him peeved on the boxart? I know they stopped with the last two games but it makes you wonder.

I'm going to guess they'll go with a pensive look this time or maybe an 'enigmatic smile'. :P

Or, more likely, 10 peeved Kirbies!

So we get a new villain, and his name is Necrodius, and he split Kirby into 10 smaller Kirbies... How interesting. Heck, Kirby keeps on getting new villains anyway...

Escargoon: Kitcheeennn!!!! Where's the chow, ya chowderheads?! His highness is hungry up here!
Waddle Doo: But we just served the King a 10-course meal!
Dedede: All of them appetizers was un-appetizin'! Bring me 10 different courses and make it snappy!
Waddle Doo: Right! *he and the Waddle Dees finish the 10 courses and bring the food to Dedede* Hup, two, three, four, we bring the food and he wants more! Five, six, seven, eight, the King had better watch his weight!

So that's why Whispy was unnaturally tall in the screenshots. Turns out, the Kirbys are just unnaturally short!

I noticed the sprites of Kirby looked slightly different than in the first screenshots. I knew they weren't good enough to be finalized.

Dang villains, always changing Kirby to provide an inconvenience in gameplay. I hope they'll bring back the animal buddies and Dark Matter eventually.
