Kirby's Rainbow Resort

Yep. Y'all heard me. It was 20 years ago today, when the Kirby anime made its debut in Japan. I wanted to post this today because today was the day the very first episode aired over there that long ago. Happy 20th anniversary to Hoshi no Kaabii/Kirby: Right Back at Ya! Here's to many more.

I've really loved this anime as I watched it over the years that it aired in my family's home's TVs. So, anybody else feel like sharing their thoughts?

Waddle Doo: Right! *he and the Waddle Dees finish the 10 courses and bring the food to Dedede* Hup, two, three, four, we bring the food and he wants more! Five, six, seven, eight, the King had better watch his weight!

I emerge several days late, but good gosh, happy 20th anniversary to Hoshi no Kaabii! The anime has really been my main lot in the Kirby fandom, and I wouldn't hesitate to call it my favorite bit of the series, and one of my favorite things in general. I remember stumbling on it four years ago when I first became interested in Kirby, and I fell in love with it. Even if I primarily prefer to watch the Japanese version, I can't get enough of Dedede's voice in the dub, lol.

I remember a long, long time ago, this anime aired on FoxBox when I was a kid. I loved it but honestly can't recall any details about it except that I was happy my favorite game series was getting a show.

Now that I'm older and I've seen a lot more Anime series in general, I wonder how it would measure up to my current tastes. I don't even think I was able to properly watch the full series in the first place, dub or not. A rewatch is absolutely in order for me.
