Kirby's Rainbow Resort

I was drawing this, but GIMP crashed. This screenshot? It's stuck like this. Frozen, like a freaking Ice Age.

You can take ten minutes to load, you can make it hard to use Get Color with your cute little lag, but when you take away a solid hour of work, man, you best start running. I'm never using GIMP again and wouldn't recommend it to any decent human being. (I'm angry right now. Just ignore this.)

So, yeah, anyway, her ponytail gave me trouble so I gave her spork-shaped hair. She's a lot harder to draw than I thought she would be, but it might be where I was trying to make it look as much like the reference as possible.

Same here, I thought she would be easy to Sprite but she's tougher than she looks, Gimp is very glitchy, I sometimes have to wait two and a half minutes for it to start up, BTW smashing picture of Tiff, for shading I recomend you use SmoothDraw 3, it's airbrushing IMO is the best I've ever seen

GIMP loads up quickly for me most of the time, but yesterday it did take longer, which might have had something to do with it. That's the first time it ever had a major glitch, I tried it again and I was able to draw something to completion...nothing to do with Fumu, though, I'm a little demoralized with her. XD

I was actually getting ready to color/shade something, so I'll try that out.

It could be like the plots of the early Dark Matter-related games. Zero notices that Nightmare is gone so he invades, and goes for the fairy palace where the Power Crystal (which is related to the Heart Rod?) resides. It gets broken and scatters, like in Crystal Shards, and that's why they have to planet-hop. Maybe the Heart Rod can only be summoned with a great amount of love, too. So Kirby and his friends (whoever else is in the group with him, I guess) would have to stand together against Zero. That would be a crowning moment of heartwarming/awesome, right there.

...Dang it, now I really want to write this. DX GO AWAY PLOT BUNNIES I DON'T LIKE YOU.

Neat sprite! I've dabbled in sprite-making but I could never make anything awesome like that. I like how the shading isn't too obvious but is still noticeable. If that made any sense :D

I was moving and just recently got internet back, so that's why this is late.

Does anyone here have an FFN account? I do, though it's pretty bare. I've got a lot of Kirby-related ideas but there's just not enough time in the day. X)

Whats FNN and we all need references, ;D, thats how we learn to get the ideas stuck in our heads and brains so that we do not need references some day.

FFN or fanfiction.net is a fanfiction archive. The largest, in fact.

I've actually been meaning to draw Nightmare based on references, but he frightens me artistically. :hide: Fumu's a lot easier but just complicated enough that it doesn't feel too easy.
