Yup! It's been a very long time. At some point I just became really invested in other projects / things that caught my attention. That and I had a friend group at the time that was from KRR and we'd just chat through MSN Messenger. Those days are gone though, and I found myself really missing the message board environment, this one in particular.

It does feel somewhat like a whiplash, comparing how active it was to how it is now. Where once it was a bustling civilization of all things Kirby, it now seems to be a nice, comfy little niche. Both are good for their own reasons, though obviously I'd like to see it return to the level of activity it once held in its hayday. I figure, if I want to see something happen here, perhaps I should participate myself.

I'll be here more regularly from now on.

I swear I made an account here but I cannot remember the username I used, but then I ended up just making another one and it took like a minute to do so.

I do, in fact, like Kirby. I actually find it kind of a shame this is the only forum that exists dedicated to it, and I would never willingly use Reddit for this.

Same as the previous person, I'm pretty sure I made an account well over a decade ago, can't remember what it's called though.
Doesn't matter much though, since I was pretty much just a Lurker back then.
I'm glad to be back though!
And I'm amazed to see how alive this place still is after all these years.

Thought I'd pop in since it's been ages. I'm glad KRR still exists, though forums have largely been swallowed up by social media giants. Not as into Kirby as I used to be, but I was watching my spouse (who I met through KRR) play through it and it seems pretty well made. Also adorable.

I think of old KRR friends sometimes and hope everyone is doing well. :)

I was more from KRR than him - I worked on KRR for a few years and had contact info on the staff page, which is how he started interacting with me (good old days of AOL instant messaging). We’re good, I moved to the US to be with him. Met with Kindar and Debageldond for dinner once now that I’m down here, hope they’re doing okay as well! Haven’t talked to them in ages.

That's great that KRR has had such an impact on your life. I wish you all the best and hope to see you and maybe your partner pop in from time to time. :)
