If everyone can keep text colour use to a minimum, that'd be great. Some people are having trouble reading certain colours on either the light/dark themes. Rather than making all your post text coloured, colour is best used just for flavour.

Whenever I see a post about KRR rules, I wonder how much those rules apply now, since, you know, KRR isn’t properly moderated anymore and has very few active users anyway.

I honestly think the only rules that would still hold any water are the obvious, don't post explicit NSFW stuff that every general forum ever has. This place is basically a graveyard run by its few remaining users at this point.

I guess you could see it that way, from my point of view this place just really has little in the way of more minor rules to be enforced (i.e., no text colors, no necroposting, no signatures beyond a certain size etc.), since no one is here to enforce them at the moment.

It’s unlikely there ever WILL be someone to enforce them, because of numerous reasons I’ve said countless times before. Some posts have even managed to get away with swearing. So yeah, I guess we’re the rule enforcers now. I like to think this is OUR forum now because most of the staff is gone, and those who aren’t come here VERY rarely. With staff absent, it’s up to us to shape our own destiny and community.

It really is now, when I think about it. Especially with the two of us having been the ones who have pretty much stuck around here the most consistently (at least, I have since 2019 when I joined), along with ones like Nightbeans and Kirbyfan103.

Definitely. I’d say Iko and Kirbyfan103 are the true users as they were actually around during the site’s golden age, but Iko typically only posts in Fountain of Dreams, and Kirbyfan rarely posts outside of FoD and Gaming Gallery. I still appreciate them all the same though.

‘Active’ users on here tend to kind of disappear and reappear without warning due to the forum’s nature. I personally try to not go too long without visiting and catching up on posts, but I don’t really have anything better to do most of the time. Other people have jobs, responsibilities, and so on and so forth. Also, this site is a higher priority on my ‘list’ of sites I like to visit. I doubt that’s the case for many others.
