wow. There's more wrong here than I want to address, but I'll try...

First off, free-for-alls are fun. They allow for more people to play and they can get pretty hectic. If you can't change your strategy to fit more than one person, then your strategy sucks. On top of that, when we did do those one-on-ones, you still spammed like crazy with every one of your characters.

Team matches are fun, but team matches with team attack on are, IMO, F***ING RETARDED. It's just like a free for all, except you're expected to work together. On top of that, every time Minon and I were on a team against you, you SD'd and tried again, so we finally quit trying to do that because we thought you were doing something else.

In 1 vs 1, you did no such thing. While you won three 1 on 1s against Minon by the skin of your teeth, you need to realize that you were playing someone who had just taken a break from pretty much nonstop programming for the past three days, and he was playing Brawl for the first time in the past two weeks. His brain was dead and he could not see too well and he was kinda sucking pretty badly, and yet you barely won? Wow...you sure are something...

on top of that, you got to do some 1 on 1s at the beginning with some friends of mine, and you barely won those, too. Both of those friends do not own the game and only just started playing Smash this year. Yeah. You are amazing, I swear.

Everything that Matthew had said in his post was something I would probably comment on (except the small comments on SMK playing style), except the team attack. Wanna know why it's good? So you're attacks are more precise. It makes for good practice if you wanna make more of your attacks hit a little more often. Also, it doesn't give you a moments rest when your ally just shot/threw something powerful your way. So pretty much, it helps so you don't let your guard down when fighting someone. That's how I think team attack is good for team battles.

Also, I think what he meant by that is that 1v1 is that if he were to face either of you in a 1v1, he would win. That's what I think he meant. Even so, should have been worded a little better to prevent confusion.

Oh yeah, I know why people play team attack, and if they want to do it more power to them, but I dislike it immensely because it makes me just want to kill everyone and be done with it. Without allows for more strategy and the like because you can work together much more efficiently.

I believe I am not the best player at smash, I am a casual gamer who has played since the first one in 1999. I can't say I am the best and can "PWN" anyone in 1v1 matches. But I am good enough to say I am not a newb at the game for sure. But SMK, getting fusrated and SDing will not get you better. You have to try and try and try to get better at what you want to accomplish.
I remember when I started Counter-Strike, I sucked at the game badly. Then I met up with my friend who always killed me and owned me, when I was on the verge of giving up, he told me to never give up, and always work for what you want to accomplish. So I did, now we are pretty even at the game and he has been playing since the beta days.

So remember SMK, never give up at Super Smash Bros. Just practice, practice, practice. It could also be your connection that makes you suck. I can't play for !@#$ online, because it lags too much to get moves correctly executed on time.

So just remember, practice and don't get frustrated so easy.

And on a side note, free for alls are just like any other match. The fact that you only think you can spam moves in them is the reason why you lose. From what I have heard from Rayd, all you do is use forward smash with kirby over and over again. It doesn't take much thinking to dodge the same move that your opponent just used.

nah, he doesn't just spam the forward smash anymore. He also spams the up+B and the down+B. and he loves to stay in one place in the air and keep using the meteor smash over and over again, hoping to get someone caught in it...

I rarely use Up-B. I use down-B when I see an opening. But no I don't spam them. IF I do spam anything, its definately my back-air.

apparently, I think that's what's called a double post, but that's not my call I suppose.

Anyways, what you DO spam is the Down+A midair.

the SECOND you see someone off the stage, you jump IMMEDIATELY at him (them in my case) to do that.

Otherwise, whenever someone's near enough to an edge, you usually spam side smash to get them off the stage, even at some of the lowest percentages.
