Ah, I just realized something I should have asked. I've seen Kirby's final smash evaded somehow, but it wasn't clear how (and it wasn't because of range). Any chance you can tell me if you can roll TOWARD Kirby to evade the pull of the cauldron? I'm taking a few random stabs, assuming dodgy frames or something, but I can't test this for myself for a bit. And for that matter, what about flinchless "super armor" frames?

If it helps, you can always summon items in front of you before you make Kirby use a final smash in training mode, to see when to time it, if so.

The only way I've ever been able to get away from Kirby's Final Smash is by staying out of it's range. No idea what you're talking about.

As for super armor, Ike's the only person I know about. His Eruption and the part of the Aether where he throws up his sword are both super armor. So yeah, a skilled Ike can be rather deadly.

Actually, I've seen Kirby's FS be dodged while in range. I think the person side step dodged and managed to dodge Chef Kirby's wrath. Sadly, I can't find the video, so... yeah.

Didn't know eruption had those frames. I only knew about Aether and Wario's forward smash. I heard Lucas's up smash might, but I wouldn't quote it since I haven't heard or seen a definite there.

When I mentioned those frames, I meant if they could be used to not be sucked in by Cook Kirby. Still, I learned something new from that.

I has some too...
How heavy Pit is, and does he have any weaknesses? How does Mario and Zamus feel overall? Also, what Kirby stages do you have now, and if you know, is there more of them?

Oh! Also, what are the similarities between Lucario/Mewtwo?
He's a middleweight character, and the only thing about him I would consider a weakness is when he gets knocked out of his up B, he can't use it until he lands again.

Mario is an overall great character, aside from the FLUDD which is pretty useless. ZSS has wonderful range, but her recovery isn't so good at all. So long as someone edgeguards, and her down B doesn't reach, she'll die. So far the only Kirby stages I have are the Halberd, and Green Greens. I'm pretty sure those are the only two.

Lucario is quite similar to Mewtwo, in some aspects. Aura Sphere feels just like Shadow Ball, but a bit worse. It's also slower, I believe. Mewtwo also had a better recovery, Lucario's is actually pretty bad. Aside from those two things, Lucario is a better version of Mewtwo. He just feels the same. I do hate him, though.
As for Lucario, since today's Dojo update is about him, I read that the damage, speed, and size of the Aura Sphere (and the power of all his other attacks) will grow with the more damage he takes. Did you try out the Aura Sphere at alot of damage?

SPOI.... (nvm spoilerific topic, anyway)

Lucario's attacks double in power when his damage is at 200%. That's as far as his aura abilities increase his power, however.

I actually haven't tried this, yet. Smash Balls get boring after a while, so I ended up taking them off. I'm guessing it's possible, but you would have to time it just right.

I'm sure at 200%, Lucario's would be stronger than Mewtwo's, but when I said that I meant in general. Perhaps around 0-40%.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but what's new in training mode?

Is Battleship Halberd really the only Kirby stage? Or is there an unlockable stage as well?

The fastest you can go is 1.5x, and you can spawn Smash Balls. That's all I know at the moment, as I haven't checked much in Training.

That is the only new stage. Green Greens is still there, as part of the Melee stages.

Oh, it is? I thought there were only 6 melee stages in! That's great to hear.

Apparently, there are ten Melee stages returning: Temple, Rainbow Cruise, Corneria, Brinstar, Green Greens, Pokemon Stadium 1, Onett, Big Blue, Yoshi's Island, and that one DK stage I can never remeber the name of (the one with the river flowing from right to left rather than from back to front.)

Yeah, one stage from each series that had two stages in Melee are back in Brawl: Rainbow Ride, Jungle Japes, Temple, Yoshi's Island, Green Greens, Corneria, Brinstar, Onett, Big Blue, and Pokémon Stadium.

This is great to hear! I thought that only the 6 posted on dojo would be in, and thats it. I'm glad to hear there are more. Specifically Green Greens and Big Blue. Also, I kind of liked the DK stage, but I was never good at it. Time to get melee out and practice...

Those six are the default Melee stages, but Pokemon Stadium, Green Greens, Big Blue, and Jungle Japes are all hidden stages.

Oh, that makes sense, and is a great idea!

All the more reason to play Brawl. I still haven't quit in melee, so it will probably make the transition easier. The only stage I would wish for is Venom, and since I like Corneria even better, then I'm not mad about that. Also, the SMB2 stage was awesome for Captain Falcon and Young Link, but I know nearly everybody hated that stage, so I wasn't expecting it to be back.

Kayo, probably one of the last questions you'll get before Brawl comes out.

I was watching a video, with Distant Planet being the stage. Ivysaur landed on top of the Bulborb, with it's mouth closed. Seconds later, it instantly eat Ivysaur. Does that really happen? Or was a it simply a glitch? Kinda confused me about that.

Oh yes, that really happens. I was quite surprised when it happened to me, actually.

I suppose that is enough for this topic! I've answered a great deal of questions, and anything else can wait until the game comes out for everyone else in another 2 days(assuming you get it midnight). If I may, inquire a lock on this topic's behalf? Thanks.
