Chapter 8: The Ballad of Howdy and Dexter, or Everybody Love Scarf Girl

After getting the hat kid to come back to the clubhouse, I returned to the Sunflower Market to see if I could convince Tweedledee and Tweedleduurrrrrrrrrr to return to the clubhouse as well.


But first I decided to talk to a hungry hungry Ham-Ham that is knowledgeable on the subject of "nokrmp-P.".


Oh wait. Er, did I say "talk to?" I meant, "Tack-Q into." Silly me.


Huh, wait, what? C-crap... now she's gonna write a story about this...


"Fear grips the shopping mall after a sickening display of brutality. The culprit, 'Ham A,' was beating the seeds out of 'Ham B.' Anyways, I did find Howdy again, and after a small chat he taught me how to do a funky little dance. Come on everybody! Let's do the Minglie!!

When I started to leave, I heard a familiar voice calling down from the bove.

Ow...I chipped a tooth. Aw man, now I have to see the hamster dentist... maybe I should ask Howdy to chew through the ice instead. His teeth are more expendable than mine.

Chapter 9: Ham-Ham World Tour

Today I don't really feel like looking for more Ham-Hams or anything so I'm just kind of going to explore this crazy mixed-up Hamster world. And what better place to start than the clubhouse itself?

The park's kind of cool, I guess. Might as well check it out. Again.


Remember the jungle gym? I Tack-Q'd into one of the poles, and this guy fell down and he got all mad about it.


I got mad too and turned into the Incredible Hulk, it was pretty crazy!!

...Okay I made that last part up.


So there was this fence, and I Tack-Q'd it, and this guy fell out and he got all indignant and told me to hush up about it.


Instead I spontaneously produced a piece of paper with one of those NO-type signs on it after learning the new phrase. Not really sure why... I guess it's the magic of Ham-Chat, huh?


Oh man, I almost entirely forgot about the silly little hide-and-seek game. I guess it's over now.


What a diverse little bunch of hamsters we have here. I wonder if the seeker-Ham would have been hopeless without me... probably. He smelled funny.


Uh oh. We're in trouble. Something's come along and it's burst our bubble. Yeah, yeah. Uh oh. We're in trouble. Book us a ticket on the next space shuttle.

I wasn't listening when he told me about that Ham-Chat word so I'll just assume that "Delichu" means "the offspring of a Delibird and a Pikachu." It makes sense to me, at least.


I guess so, since acorns are useless to me anyways. What'll you give me? Five sunflower seeds?


Holy crap this dude is LOADED. And I have three more acorns! I'm gonna be rich!!


Check it out! With these many sunflower seeds I could probably make Oxnard explode! But as awesome as that would be, I'd rather use them for a different purpose...


SHOPPING SPREEEEEEEEEEEEEE


Whoa! I didn't know there were hamster-sized Game Boys! It's just a Game Boy Pocket, so it can't play a lot of newer games, but... this is totally awesome! And now that I'm rich, I can buy it up. Now I can play Tetris into the night!!


At the ruins, where Mama Hamskewitz used to be, I found a bunch of feathers and bird tracks. How conspicuous.

I was doing some more exploring, and I came across some secret poetry!! Time to read the inner thoughts of some random hamster.


Yes, let's, because that was really lame and not even finished yet. If it got out in the public, the poet would probably be publicly ridiculed by the object of his affection.


In the Sky Garden, Mama Hamskewitz asked me to deliver some food to her husband. So I said okay.


Oh are you talking about that mini-game guy? Man he didn't seem the least bit Russian to me.


Oh man, that looks a lot better than the stuff I've been living off of for the past few days... but I can't eat it... hrrrgh.

And with that, I left and returned to the Clubhouse to relax for a while. It's really getting on my nerves to live in a world like this, but... maybe I'll find a way to get back to normal sometime soon. Before I adapt entirely, that is.

What better day than the day after April Fool's Day to upload the next chapter of this saga. There's probably only going to be two or three more chapters after this, to be honest. But I guess I will go down in history as maybe the first Let's Play on KRR to actually end.

CHAPTER 10: Jingle All The Way

Today I shall continuing my tedious quest to unite all the Ham-Hams. According to Boss, there's only three left to find... and I know where to start looking for one of them! But first, maybe I should ask for some help from that smart bookish hamster. He probably knows what kind of random crap I'll need to succeed.


Oh well it looks like he's already busy giving out advice to Howdy.

According to the Ham-Chat Dictionary, Pookie means "like." Um. But it was kind of implied to mean love as opposed to like... eh... I dunno.


At least I can do this one with style. Howdy looks like some kind of ancient horror from beneath the Earth's crust, unleashed to gouge our eyes out with his crazy Southern accent and terrible, terrible puns.

Anyways. If Maxwell isn't going to give me any information, I'll just have to return to the scene... and by that, I mean the school. That's where that music was, and that's where a dying hamster demanded some flowers.. which I still haven't found yet.

At that moment, it all became clear. She wasn't asking for an actual flower. She was asking for flower tea! Flower tea is said to cure upset stomachs, and it was pretty clear she was sick... wow, how dense could I get? I'm gonna have to get some of this tea.


But first, let's sniff it. Enjoy the aroma. The fragrance of dark coffee flower tea stimulates the mind, body, and soul. And then...
