![]() Listings for Generated Kirby Fan Games
Astaroids is an interesting remake of the classic game of Asteroids. (You remember, the little letter "A" that's supposed to be a spaceship?) It's really quite entertaining and is definitely worth playing. Is there any difference between this and the actual Asteroids other than graphics? Well, I don't think there was a teleport feature in this... Contains an executable; no set-up or installation necessary.
If you liked Blockball, you'll really enjoy Breakout Quest! The backstory involves a creepy force called Dark Nova, who has turned Dreamland into an arcade-style blockball world. It features several levels packed into seven worlds with names like Chocolate Cave and Lollipop Lake. Each world has a boss encounter, and they range from Waddle Dee, Dynablade, Waddle Doo, and more -- including Dark Nova himself. While Kirby's abilities have been neutralized, breaking blocks will drop stars for you to collect that allow Kirby to do some neat things to make his quest a little easier. Executable size is huge, as is this thing's start-up time!
After getting through the breakout world of Dark Nova in Kirby: Breakout Quest, King Dedede decides to start trouble as he gets Kirby to try out his brand new break out game. As Kirby plays it, a virus traps him in the game! There must be some way to escape, and there must be something behind this... Features new blocks and random effects, and four levels per world with a boss at the end of each. If you liked the first one, you'll love the sequel! Superficially similar to the first, but much smaller and much faster. Maybe just skip ahead to this one -- it's all blockball anyway, right?
Bump N' Battle is a fun little twist on the usual "Bash the Blocks" type game. The difference? This one actually has an objective! Kirby is bashing his way through Dream Land using the almighty Dream Paddle to knock his enemies into goals and avoiding the perilous spikes at the end. The fun variation comes in that instead of destroying random blocks repetitively, the aim is to bash your enemy into the goal, in order to progress to the next level. A very interesting demo, but poorly executed. Too much relies on chance; sometimes, the enemy will start out moving right toward the goal, and your paddle has little effect on aiming your targets -- which is like trying to shoot a bullet with another bullet!
My third game I have made to date. My other two were Mario games, but here is my first Kirby fan game! ^_^ I made it as a Christmas Gift to generally everyone. It is styled like an extra stage in an old Sonic the Hedgehog game. Run through a forest, but don't hit the trees! Or Waddle Dees. Do hit candy.
Still a demo, technically, but far more advanced than some of the other stuff here! Take control of Squeaky Bogg as he runs, jumps, and, um, falls through lots of levels filled with Dream Land foes. Watch out for cookies!... They're delicious!
A unique game in which you guide a warpstar-riding Kirby through enemy-laden stages in order to collect enough coins to move on to the next stage. Despite the simplicity, it's remarkably enjoyable, and highly recommended. I dunno what coins have to do with Kirby, exactly. This one is more about maneuverability than speed, although speedy maneuverability works best.
An entertaining game in which you play as Fighter Kirby, and your objective is to slay as many Waddle Dees as you can! Mindless button mashing does this game no justice. You just use attacks while avoiding bombs; the enemies do not even move, and you occasionally fall straight through the ground. Contains an executable; no set-up or installation necessary.
In this sequel to Fighter Kirby Rush, play through a series of stages as Fighter Kirby, each one with a unique objective. Learn new abilities as you progress, fight bosses, and otherwise have a good time! Must be installed to be played.
As sword Kirby, you must defend Fort Valiance against an invading army of bombs! 3D-styled slashing galore! Got this one to work. Hardly 3D; it is really more of non-sidescrolling. The special moves are near worthless, and it barely has anything to do with Kirby since it mostly involves sword-swinging against non-Dream Land foes. Contains an executable; no set-up or installation necessary.
In Gourmet Grab, you play as Kirby as you try to eat all the delicious, non-green foods before the timer expires. Pretty simple: The arrow keys move, shift jumps. Have at it! Must be installed to be played.
The sequel to King Kirby's Gourmet Grab. This time, you must choose one of three playable characters and eat as much food as you can before the time limit expires! Must be installed to be played.
A unique side-scrolling shooter game in which you must invade King Dedede's fortress, fight your way through numerous enemies and bosses, and save Dream Land once more! It is a spaceship game with Kirby sprites. And only some Kirby sprites. What are those satellite dishes doing there?
Kirby and Meta-Knight's Sky Action is a basic shooter game. However, it has some wonderful explosion and trail graphics, as well as the option for two people to play simultaneously. Multi-player fun is guaranteed! This game certainly is fast-paced and crazy. Let no one say it is boring for a second!
Just like the original, KGR has a host of mini-games all made to be challenging yet fun. The mini-games include, as before: Gordo Pong, Star Ride (my favourite!) and Nightmare Battle! There are extra features such as as sound test option, and more secrets to be unlocked when you manage to earn the codes. As with the first version, this is highly addictive -- if not more so due to the general better graphics and smoother running. Contains an executable; no set-up or installation necessary.
Kirby on Zebes is a great example of how fun it would be if Kirby was in an action-platform Metroid-type game. The game has a very nicely mixed graphical content of Kirby items, but with a Metroid feel. Very clever. Must be installed to be played.
Kirby Virtual Pet is a... Kirby... Virtual Pet. Yep. That's about it. Name your Kirby, raise you Kirby, and see if you can keep him or her happy. Spiffy! Must be installed to be played.
Fans have been dying for some faint glimmer of hope that a Kirby RPG will come out, and Kirby Warrior meets the demand with this charming RPG. Bursting with characters, places to go and a unique gameplay - you'll be up forever playing it!
The long awaited sequel to KWRPG has finally arrived, with new characters, levels, items, and much more!
You liked it before, you'll like it again. The result of nine or ten months of work, a new developer gives KWRPG2 a new twist with new plot turns, new areas, new towns, and a lot of secrets and extras. (Even though it is unfinished, it still has all that.)
An infinite army of Meta Knight clones is attacking Meta Knight! How long can he survive? Must be installed to be played.
Kirby's Minigame Madness is a game full of great potential. Bursting with colorful graphics and smooth gameplay, it is sure to be a real addiction to play when finished. Right now, there is only one game, the Kirby Concentration, in which you must match up the random forty cards as fast as you can. Neat sound effects, along with the catchy music make this a really exciting game. Future updates include the already famous Decibel Duel, and many others (some which I can't name) and others I don't know. Has a set-up procedure; must be installed.
PW Rush is, by far, one of the most entertaining fangames I've played. Ever. While it is merely another side-scrolling shooter, this game somehow makes you want to play continuously and forever. It is that good. You will download it. Must be installed to be played.
Meta-Knight must save Kirby by catching them (yes, multiple) as they fall from above. Grab the candy and crystals while you're at it! Just watch out for Waddle. You control Meta-Knight with simple left and right movement. Things are sparse at the start, but it picks up later. Too much, actually; so many 1-Ups fall later on that you'll be hard pressed to ever run out of lives!
After roughly two years in production, the premier Kirby fangames makes it's release! A forward-progressing side-scrolling shooter. It still feels like a Kirby game, however, due to the intelligent way the enemy AI's were given to each of the Dream Land foes. Back to Fan Games listing. |
